Lillian, a Mexican artist of German descent currently based in Abu Dhabi, molds her choreographic expressions through immersive laboratories with the body, somatics, sounds, and imagery. In her creative process, she deftly navigates the interplay between the senses, action, and reactivity, constructing worlds that captivate and engage.
Drawing inspiration from philosophical and social themes, Lillian’s artistic practice delves into improvisation processes, inviting a myriad of interpretations from her audience. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Contemporary Dance, she has cultivated her craft through diverse experiences, dancing across Europe and Latin America.
Beyond the realm of dance, Lillian’s deepened understanding of bodily movements is enriched by her extensive training in Pilates, Yoga, and somatics. Her vibrant teaching career, including her role as the Lead Teacher on a Classical Pilates Teacher Training in Abu Dhabi, UAE, has garnered her recognition as a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (®NCPT) and a Level 2 UAE Reps instructor. With over 800 hours of Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training completed, she specializes in Neurorehabilitation and Patho Kinesiopathology of the lumbar spine.
Lillian further extends her expertise as a certified Yoga instructor in Ashtanga, Hatha Vinyasa, and Trauma-informed Yoga. Additionally, she holds the title of a Level 2 Franklin Method Educator (®Franklin Method), showcasing her commitment to holistic movement practices and education.
